Precision rolled ring also named contoured rolled rings and near-tolerance rolled rings, it is one of our most advantage forging products, this kind of ring is different with the general straight ring, this forging technology should make the forging blanks by shape at the first production step, according to the analysing and investigating from the engineer, different precision rolled ring forgings should be made different blanks by shape according to our drawings, the sizes of every forging blanks after forged and punched should be highly consistent, it is the key factor for successful production of the precision rolled ring forging.
After finished of the forging blank production, it is the seamless rolling production step, this step also need to fulfill with the special mandrels and rolls, in this way, the outer circle and inner hole of the seamless rolled rings can be forged into a shape close to the finished machining sizes. For some of ring forgings with complex and difficult special-shaped, two or three rollings are required in this forming stage, this process requires controlling the temperature of the forging blank or re-heating it in the furnace.
After the ring rolling is completed, it needs to enter the shaping stage. This process can ensure that the size of each special-shaped ring forging is highly consistent and basically free of burrs.
